Oyinkan Muraina

Overview

Oyinkan is a corporate litigator at Watstein Terepka with extensive experience defending securities class actions and complex commercial litigation. She has experience in various phases of litigation, including pre-suit litigation, post-hearing briefing, and appeals.

Before joining Watstein Terepka, Oyinkan worked as a litigation associate at global law firms in both New York and Atlanta, litigating cases in state and federal courts around the country — including breach of contract, unjust enrichment, and alleged antitrust violations — and advising public-company clients on their legal disclosures and corporate-governance reforms.

Oyinkan graduated from Columbia Law School, where she served on the staff of the Columbia Journal of Transnational Law and as a judicial intern for the Honorable Eric N. Vitaliano of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. She received a Commendation for Leadership and Commitment in Human Rights and the Emil Schlesinger Labor Law Prize. Before Columbia, she graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania and served as a Fulbright Research Fellow in Ilorin, Nigeria, where she researched the administration of Islamic law in the area court system.
